I first stumbled on this podcast while listening to another nature series and it came up as an ad. I added it to a playlist for the next time I would need a podcast to get me through life with an adventure. I remember stepping outside in the cold morning deciding to finally listen to it, the sky was a soft blue and the cold bit at my cheeks. I walked and I found myself in a story that was hard to put down, or in this case stop listening to. It became a daily thing listen to the podcast on a walk, every few days. Overall, Trail weight was more than a hike up the JMT--to me it was a story about life and the chaos in it, and the beauty. I know I cried a few times during the episodes, laughed or felt my heart lunge like lion at prey.
